A towering figure in American music, Cash was celebrated for his rich baritone voice, genre-defying artistry, and unwavering commitment to social issues. Public funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee, followed by interment beside his wife at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. He is survived by his children Rosanne, Kathy, Cindy, Tara, and John Carter, and stepdaughters Carlene and Rosie, leaving behind an indelible legacy that continues to inspire.
